VWS Software Solutions, the creators of VWS PurGo, have been announced as a finalist in the Efficiency Initiative category of the MRW National Recycling Awards 2016. The winners are to be announced at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Wednesday 6 July.

VWS PurGo waste management software was developed specifically to offer waste operators a simplified software solution to help them to streamline their processes from sales through to operations, including admin, billing and reporting. The software works in harmony with most bin-weighing systems thereby enabling waste management companies to monitor exactly what they are collecting and from whom.

VWS Software Solutions launched VWS PurGo at the RWM 2015 exhibition and since then a growing number of waste management companies have started using the software with remarkable results. They are now able to pinpoint the heaviest loads and identify potential missed revenue, as well as establish Pay By Weight services.

VWS PurGo uses in-cab PDAs to schedule work and capture data. Customers pay a monthly subscription for the use of the software, which includes the support service should they need it.
