The morning was abuzz with exhibitors and visitors milling around the venue undeterred by the morning showers outside. The conference area kicked off with a talk from Backhouse Jones Solicitors on Operator Legal Compliance. Later guest speakers included members of CHEM, URoc and WRAP and VWS’s Julian Glasspole & Shaun Hamilton.

 

The show featured outdoor exhibitors as well, with Billy Bowie Tankers, Stocks Sweepers and Boughton all appearing, and thanking the heavens that the morning drizzle had turned in to much more clement sunshine.

Inside 40-or-so stands were manned by businesses in insurance, consultancy, finance, vehicle weighing and plant. With free attendance and free lunch included it was certainly a recipe for success for all.

Judging by the buzz and the atmosphere, we’ll be rejoining these guys in 2014.
