Successful Shanks Trial Leads to Big Order for VWS

Following months of trials, Shanks, a leading international sustainable waste management business, has recently selected the ENVIROWEIGH bin-weighing system from Vehicle Weighing Solutions Ltd (VWS) for 16 of its refuse vehicles as well as the company’s Loadweigh-CAN under-body weighing system for 8 Front End Loaders, all manufactured and installed by Vehicle Weighing Solutions Ltd (VWS).
Julian Glasspole, Managing Director, VWS said: “All the systems are weights and measures approved and were fully tested for 9 months by Shanks before we installed them.”
The vehicles were supplied by Noblets and the weighing systems were fitted to 16 x Geesink Norba Rear End Loaders and 8 x Heil Front End Loaders by VWS at its workshops in Chesterfield. CMS Supatrak supplied the bin weigh software and tracking.
