Two years ago Chambers Waste Management called in VWS when a bin-weigher supplied by a competitor wasn’t operating properly. VWS rectified the problem and Chambers went on to order VWS’ Enviroweigh dynamic bin-weigher for its Geesink Norba RCV. As the only British weights and measures approved bin-weighing system, and with an unrivalled accuracy to within 0.5% or better, Chambers can offer customers a pay by weight service. Enviroweigh also offers a host of data collection, storage, transfer and manipulation solutions for all kinds of IT infrastructures.

VWS went on to install underbody weighing systems to a wide range of vehicles in Chambers’ fleet including two Cargotec Hook-lift loaders, two Thompsons Tippers and three Titan Walking Floor Trailers. Most recently VWS has been asked to install underbody and bin-weighing to the company’s Heil Big Bite.
