Oldham based onboard vehicle weighing specialists VEHICLE WEIGHING SOLUTIONS has appointed Shaun Hamilton. Shaun takes on the role as UK Sales Director and will play a key role in developing municipal markets. Julian Glasspole MD of VWS said: “Shaun’s expertise and experience with RCV’s will be invaluable, after spending 14 years at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, and a spell with Farid as sales manager, Shaun is ideal, he knows RCV’s inside out and what mangers are looking for to run their fleets effectively and efficiently”.   

Shaun said: “it’s a great opportunity to join the team, they are growing quickly, I will be working closely with my colleagues at VWS to help RCV operators to maximise their municipal fleets, they have a lot of technical expertise and ground breaking products to bring to the market, they are already working closely with leading body manufacturers to engineer more cost effective weighing systems”. Shaun joins Vehicle Weighing Solutions from Ecofar where he was a partner in the UK arm of the Italian small RCV body supplier.   - END –
